Proverbs 21:13
If a man
shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be
answered.
I am not sure what the future schedule will be. A lot
will rely on what happens over the next few months. We are taking some
time to regroup and rethink what the plan is. I know what some of the
needs are, and which ones we want to fulfill, it is just how we go about
doing this.

Orphanage in Omoa
Currently the desire is:
1. Find a good, reliable
solar powered fresh water conversion device. I am looking for a sub
$3000 solar powered water supply that can be hooked up to a local river,
swamp or whatever and will put out at least 2000 gallons of fresh,
clean, drinkable water per day. A lot of disease in third world
countries is spread by contaminated water. If we can find and sponsor
devices that can be either shipped and assembled, or assembled with
local materials to these places, one village at a time we can start
supplying fresh water. I hope that over the next six months or so we can
find something and start providing at least one per month to villages in
Haiti and other countries. If you know of something, please let me know.
Any input will be valuable. Also, if you have the desire to go and set
these up once we find them let me know as well as I will keep a list of
willing volunteers. We will most likely work with missions already in
country. I also would like to talk with some biologist type people about
this.
2. I already have a computer
set up designed and am now looking for sponsorship. I hope to find
companies and/or individuals to sponsor the cost of the computers,
software, and shipping to Haiti and Honduras. I will also look to put
together teams of about 5-7 people to go down to set up and get these
operational. I will need teams of 3-5 technical people (Windows, Linux,
Cisco, etc.) and 2-3 general labor type people (carry boxes, set up
desks.) Teams will have to get their own costs sponsored through their
local church or friends/family. I will have all the airlines and
vehicles lined up, and will let everyone know the per individual cost
once the trips are set up. I hope to have the first trips set for early
in 2009. Please
email me if you would like to be considered.
Thanks for everyone's help, and as always
I will be praying for you. Please pray for the following;
1. For good experiences working with the
people that will help us accomplish all these goals. I can do a lot of
arranging, but with out a lot of people to help there is nothing that
would ever get done. Please pray these people will come, and that the
ones already helping will be blessed by their experience.
2. Pray we find a good source for
producing potable water. Also pray we find the right places to deploy
these, especially the first one as that will be the "test" market. Pray
that I can work a deal for quantities of these in order to get better
prices. Also pray we find either a good economical way to ship these, or
that we can find the parts in country to build them.
3. I really would like to find a
biologist/hydrologist to work with. This does not need to be someone to
go in country, but sort of an advisor role.
4. Pray for energy for me. This takes a
lot besides all the other stuff I am doing. I have to make a living for
myself while I am doing all this, so this is sort of my side job. I do
have some things going on the side that are investment issues, and if
those go well that will be good. So basically, if it is God's will
everything will work out. Please pray I am, and will continue to, follow
God and his purpose.
5. Pray for some other
missions/organizations I care about.
